Hungary Business Residency
- Requires company registration and the company has to carry out meaningful economic activity in Hungary.
- Low investment amount, the capitalization of the company just need to meet the statutory minimum standards (around EUR 10k).
- Process can take 6months+ to finalize the residency, but with the right paperwork, the rate of success is high. Applicants must pass a visa interview at the Hungarian consulate of their current residency/domicile to be considered.
- Upon approval, the applicant receives a visa class “D” for 1 year, which is renewable, as long as the company is in good standing, and it carries out substantial economic activity to support its operation.
- No pathway for permanent residency or citizenship.
Slovakia Business Residency
- Requires a local company registration (s.r.o/a.s.), and a hiring a local director for an interim time period.
- Company capitalization has low requirements, around EUR 25-30k is sufficient.
- Applicant as company owner applies for residency for the purposes of taking over the management of the company. Applicants must pass a visa interview at the Slovak consulate of their current residency/domicile to be considered.
- Upon successful approval the applicant receives a visa class “D” for 1 year, which is renewable, as long as the company is in good standing, and it carries out substantial economic activity to support its operation.
- Possible pathway for permanent residency or citizenship.
